ARUNACHAL PRADESH LAW OFFICER SYLLABUS

The Upper age limit is relaxable in accordance with the instruction issued by The Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh from time to time.

Note: The Commission will conduct a Recruitment Test (Objective Test) Before written examination, if it is deemed necessary to do so.

SYLLABUS

  • Constitutional Law   (100 Marks)
  • Indian Penal Code,
    Criminal Procedure Code and
    Code of Civil Procedure  (100 Marks)
  • Indian Contract Act,1872,
    Indian Evidence Act, 1872 and
    Assam frontier (Administration of Justice) Regulation 1945.  (100 Marks)
  • General English  (100 Marks)
  • General Knowledge and Essay writing  (100 Marks)
Note: A candidate who has secured a minimum of 33% or more marks in each written examination papers and has secured 45% of marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examination papers shall be eligible for interview/viva-voce. In other words, selection for viva-voce test shall be based on the aggregate total marks secured in the written examination papers and subject to ratio of 1: 3.

The Candidate securing less than 33% of marks in any of the written examination papers shall not be eligible for appearing in the Viva-voce.

 Interview (75 marks)

Personality Test, Academic knowledge, Communication Total Marks: 575 Qualification:
  • Must be a graduate in Law from a recognised university or institution.
  • The final year students who are to appear for such final examination shall also be eligible to apply. However, such final year candidates must upload a ‘Bonafide Certificate’ to establish their claim.
